Mr. Mauricio Aracena is President of Virtual Reality Industry Forum (VRIF) and Media Standardization Manager at Ericsson and he has more than twenty years experience in working with multimedia technologies for the mobile phone industry. He has actively contributed to defining the next generation multimedia standards for 3GPP, ATSC and DVB. Currently, he is leading the standardization strategy for XR within Ericsson. Mauricio holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and an MBA from Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden
