With a career spanning from pre-Internet days, Marc Zorn has been involved with information security as a well-recognized leader in the IT industry. His participation with various consortia has helped to lay the groundwork for international groups such as FIRST and SANS, and establish standards including ISO 17799, 27000, HIPAA, and GIAC. Marc has held key security positions in the public and private sectors, including the last several years in M&E primarily consulting with studios, post-production houses, exhibitors, and the MPA to address protection of multimedia content through the transition from film-based to file-based workflows.
