Dr. Pierre-Anthony Lemieux works with Hollywood and Silicon Valley clients on worldwide standards and software R&D. His expertise covers the entertainment technology ecosystem, including audio, video, timed text, file formats, and content protection. He has been an active participant in the development of multimedia standards, including editing the IMSC W3C Recommendation and the family of IMF and D-Cinema standards. He is the maintainer of several open source projects, including the imcsJS and regxmllib toolkits.

Dr. Pierre-Anthony has a Ph.D. in Physics from UCLA, and a B.Sc. from McGill University. He is a SMPTE Fellow and a SMPTE Standards Director.
