Liz Pieri is a Perceptual Image Processing Engineer on the display visual experience team at Apple. Her research focuses on vision science for the purpose of developing cutting-edge color imaging solutions that enable the best front-of-screen user experience. She previously worked in the Applied Vision Science Group at Dolby Laboratories, where she engineered display mapping algorithms for high-dynamic-range and wide-color-gamut display technologies. She received a B.S. degree in Motion Picture Science from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016. During her studies, she completed an internship at the Library of Congress, where she developed software for measuring the color accuracy of digitized images. She currently serves as an Education Director for SMPTE.
