The Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) is an open specification from the Video Services Forum. The specification allows vendors to innovate and implement a variety of functions and usage scenarios while staying within the boundaries of the specification. This session is a technical deep dive into how enhanced capabilities that are fully supported by RIST can be used to solve specific network challenges. The session will explore network conditions and deployments to provide reliable and secure links . It covers both RIST Simple Profile (VSF TR-06-1) and RIST Main Profile (VSF TR-06-2) features, including bonding, retransmission throttling, dynamic load sharing mixing of different link types and more.
