Our mini VP Stage at NAB Show this year featured technology not shown anywhere on the show floor! Check out our solutions: #1 The Phantom Track function from RED Digital Cinema was deployed to streamline the virtual production workflow using GhostFrame on the V-RAPTOR XL X camera. The camera was mounted on a MRMC Slider with camera tracking using the ZEISS Cinematography Cincraft Scenario. BPV2 panels in the LED volume provided by ROE Visual with a Megapixel Helios processor. #2 Quasar Science Ossium Ladder Kit mounted on the truss for image based lighting. “The Fall Guy” is a hugely entertaining action comedy film, directed by David Leitch and captured with the ALEXA 35 by cinematographer Jonathan Sela ASC 🎥 Loosely based on an 80ies TV series of the same name, the story follows stuntman Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling) and his former lover Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt). DP Jonathan Sela previously collaborated with director David Leitch on several feature films, including “John Wick,” “Deadpool 2,” or “Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw”. For "The Fall Guy," the filmmakers used several cameras in combination with wide-angle lenses to better capture dynamic scenes while maintaining their own visual style. DP Sela describes the film’s look as a “scuffed brown leather jacket,” a reference to the 1980ies and 90ies.
